EXTINCT
Hey! So now that the smoke has cleared from the posting of my 8 page comic Eternal Struggle!, I can tell you about another comic I wrote. It’s called Extinct and is the first comic I started scripting back in January.
It takes place in 1985. It’s in Texas. It has WEREWOLVES.
Extinct is going to be a 7 issue series, and as of last month, all seven issues have been scripted. It was an awesome feeling to finish it up. Accomplishment y’all!
I have an amazing artist from the Philippines named Jethro Morales taking care of the pencils and the inks. He has an awesome style, he’s fast, and he’s going to be famous one of these days. On letters I have the extremely talented Canadian, Ed Brisson. He has been insanely helpful and I’m afraid I might be falling in love with him…jokes!
The premise for Extinct: A small town gets taken over by werewolves overnight. It’s up to a few teens to make them EXTINCT.
This comic is my love letter to all those awesome 80’s movies where kids had to take down monsters. It’s influenced by The Monster Squad, The Lost Boys, and also The Goonies, Teen Wolf, and even The Breakfast Club. It’s pretty much just 80’s as fuck.
That’s all I’m saying for now. I’m gonna go ahead and post the cover to the first issue though, just to tease you. I have some very exciting news about this comic, so stay tuned!
